Today the pain that accompanies birth can no longer be interpreted as an enemy to be defeated by any means, even at the cost of putting the health of the mother and child at risk.

This suffering can be a powerful means that nature has endowed us with to guide us in the process leading to birth, to push us to find a safe place to give birth to the baby, to understand where the progression of labor is, to assume positions and attitudes, and move the body in order to relieve pain and facilitate birth.

Once we understand the nature of this pain and the mechanisms that increase or decrease its perception, we can turn it in our favor to make it a powerful ally towards a safe and conscious birth, respecting the health of mother and child.

It is not always easy, we need an accompaniment to birth that will restore our innate and instinctive ability to give birth, consisting of trust in one's own body and in one's skills as women!
