Two books in one: here is Elena Balsamo's latest work, dedicated to perinatology, that is to say to everything related to birth.

Pregnancy, childbirth, welcome to the newborn, however, seen from an unusual point of view for health workers: the spiritual one. The exploration of the dimension of sacredness is carried out in two texts, written with the poetic style that is its own, which could each live a life of their own but which are side by side almost like twins: the first refers to welcoming the newborn in conditions of normality, when all is well; the second, on the other hand, is dedicated to the most difficult and problematic cases, when something does not go the right way, as in the case of premature or somehow traumatic births.
